To all you snow victims! (AKA: complainers)

what is with complaining about snow, I shoveled a whole overhang off. And it took work to keep from falling off.
This is when it was over half of the way done.

And when shoveling try to not use your back, lift with your legs and throw with your arms.
I was throwing each shovel full off the roof. this roof is about 50'by 30' also I needed to avoid throwing off one side as much as possible.
now that was tiring three days of shoveling.
But I enjoyed it

White light! Praise God, that we can see without having to look through a vale!

hey, i don't hate snow cuz i have to shovel it (i don't have to shovel, thats my bro's job) i hate it cuz it cancels things and gets me stuck in the house for a week bored out my mind! :)

Snow isn't boring, your just a fuddy-dud! You can still go outside and do stuff, dig tunnels like Pastor Craig. You can read and you have puppies to help take care of, How could you be "Bored out [of your] mind"?

"fuddy-dud"? never heard that before...

Digging tunnels is fun, also, you can build igloos, have massive snowball fights, jump off trees, tire swings, and porches. Even more fun is doing somersaults down the snowdrifts!

Yeah, snow isn't ideal, but my complaining isn't gonna change anything, so why not make the best of it?

@Charles...thats great if you enjoy getting all bundled up, looking fat, then go outside, freeze your nose, get your hands so cold you can't move them then come in and shed wet cloths in the foyer, then your hair is usually wet and knotty......... as for the reading, thats what ive been doing for the past week.....and as for puppy watching, i spend over 8 hours a day on puppy watch, but they are at the stage where they aren't supposed to be handled, and there is nothing for you to do except watch and make sure the the sick ones are eating enough......sorry im complaining so much.....that happens to me sometimes! :)

im assuming fuddy-dud is an "insult"??

hehehehehe

this is funny!

@Erin, I think it would take a LOT more than snow clothes to make you look fat... umm... what books are you reading? And I agree, that can get boring after a while. Unless you're reading Ted Dekker; you should really be reading Ted Dekker.

I think I'm going to go outside tomorrow. The snow is up to my waist on the deck! woohoo! And the drifts are taller than me! I should make a cave, I think.

As for hating snow, I just plain don't like it. I'm a HELIOPHILE, for crying out loud! We don't like this weather!!

I actually use the word, "Fuddy-dud" more as in the person who just sits there and won't enjoy themselves in a situation. but there is actually a word, fuddy-duddy, "1.a person who is old-fashioned and fussy. ...stick-in-the-mud..."
I was just throwing it out there... though really I think people just need to enjoy what God created.
