Shiny Vinyl

Okay so this ones great.
Last night at who knows what hour Blake is telling me how to properly set up the record player, I now have, so it sounds great and Doesn't skip.

I have to walk toe heal in my room now.
And not just toe heal, but very carefully toe heal, the floor in my room moves so easily that when I dropped a book into a heap of cloths it caused enough movement the record player almost skipped.

So anyone love that crackly vinyl sound?

Remembering Yesterday

Yesterday I was thinking how glad I was for the hot weather.
Not that it is comfortable.
But I actually enjoyed sweating, for some reason it felt really good.
No Idea why.

Life is Great!

Ever just feel life is really great, and you could just take on the world.
Yea!, Booya!, and Cawabunga! kinda describe it.

So I can't even remember all the things that would have been great to put on the blog.

Just been awake enough to do stuff and think clearer.

The Summer Solstice cooking party.

The advance mimes have been getting to do more interesting things like creating choreography for fighting.

VBS was crazy and very interesting.

Forth of July was great, I got so much sleep.

So It has been a while, since I used this.

I was thinking about what to write and I just could not come up with any thing.
I went though my woods and down to the stream on my bike. I only almost crashed once.

I found some new revelations about my personality. And when I look back it makes sense how I was feeling this last week.

Blake and myself rebuilt this crazy looking carburetor(who knows what that is?) and it has this really simple yet beefy look.

3/11/10(Music)

Well I was really tired of seeing the same post every time I turned on my computer/ opened my web browser.
So I am making a post...

So I think music is the best.
just listening to stuff reminds me of all kinds of memories.
I don't listen to all Christian music, but I don't like anything that has (God's Name in vain or) excessive cursing.

I have been listening to more secular music. I don't really like most of it; I would not want to sing along with those words.

But, if you pick and choose(and are careful about it)even secular music can make a good play-list.

Blues Singers

I don't know it everyone has heard this but in order to find your Blues singer name, you take an infirmity, a fruit, and the last name of a president.

ex:
Blind
Raspberry
Thomas

Lame
Apple
Johnson

but you can find way better combos than that those were just examples.

It Seems

leaving that post up about people being tired of the snow, just ends it on a bad note.

so I have to write something more perky know.

To all you snow victims! (AKA: complainers)

what is with complaining about snow, I shoveled a whole overhang off. And it took work to keep from falling off.
This is when it was over half of the way done.

And when shoveling try to not use your back, lift with your legs and throw with your arms.
I was throwing each shovel full off the roof. this roof is about 50'by 30' also I needed to avoid throwing off one side as much as possible.
now that was tiring three days of shoveling.
But I enjoyed it

White light! Praise God, that we can see without having to look through a vale!

Amazing Idea?

So I was sending an email to a friend and I realized that this was really funny.

(background info)
(we were moving snow with a front end loader and Blake was driving at the time. So when he stopped I hopped into the bucket. Blake lifted the bucket up just a little and then I went to jump. but instead I froze and just pivoted on the edge.)

We were digging ourselves out of snow all day.
I went to do a spread Eagle and instead did a swan dive into the snow!
Blake said,"Don't worry your face broke your fall"

Sum up
I landed face first in the snow.
It was really scary because the snow is so heavy. I had to strain to get out of the snow.
I was fine in the end.

Domination, Spite (or was it Genocide)

So I played Domination with David.
And most people just try to cap all the other player's pieces, and just win like that.

But, David on the other hand prefers to kill every single one of your pieces by crushing them. So we all started with thirteen pieces, if you count the bomb we started with, by the end of the game David annihilated us and was very dominant on the board.
David would take towers of other players and just crush them with another tower.

Blake and myself were spiteful to each other and were really duking it out while David was implementing his sneaky plan on the side of the board. David had lined up all his towers and was killing all the pieces that were not his own.

So at the end of the game Blues were the only major color left, David had succeeded in killing all but one red and one green.

(Song) Does it Work?

Does my song work for everyone else? Because It is on automatic play, and it is driving me slightly nuts. and I want it to work for everyone, not just me. (It is on a Xanga player, so I might need to adjust the settings on that site.)

Heaven's White

All is covered and washed new, "Heaven came down, and glory filled my soul"
It is light, It is no longer just precipitation we see. We see light and light makes people happy. It is just true a light room is always happier. So the crystals that form snow, reflect a beautiful array of light. And so snow is happy unlike, rain, for the rain clouds darken the sky, and the ground becomes dark. But snow lightens the ground and light comes and removes that darkness.
"infinite and light like the moon and sky"

Happy Snow!

I would like to 'Phone a Friend'.

Alright, So lets say I have this amazing ability that I can not eat for a long time.
So I left got school at nine am and did not get home till nine pm.(I did not eat in this time, that's where the ability comes in handy)

Alright so I had a class from one till four-forty, then another from five to five-fifty, and I was getting pretty bummed out by now the classes were not what I expected.

So I went out and Phoned a Friend,(and it wasn't Who Wants to be a Millionaire, but it was a big help)
So I was really happy about that.
And yes it made me smile.
It was really nice to hear a friend's voice after five hours of boring homework and dry lectures.

But cutting back to the beginning of the day...
I joined some friends jogging, and even though it was not that long it was still great. Plus I had never known there was a jogging trail behind the school.

Pockets!!!

Alright, so I was given the gift of a coat for Christmas. A really nice leather coat.
and I went to stick my hands in the pockets and there were none. It had slots in the side of the coat but they were only like on or two inches deep. I was like that's weird. So I was fine with the coat, I could wear gloves if it was really that cold and I did.
But then my mom says that the pockets might just be sown shut. I had never heard of such a thing but she said fancy coats used to do that.

So just today I brought out the seem ripper and cut them open, and wah-la!
I have Pockets!

Um? funny of sorts

So, My mom and Brother discussed really random stuff tonight.
Russian Hell tunnel
Pluto not being a planet
THE TUNGUSKA EXPLOSION OF 1908
why Einstein might have been a prophet of some kind.

It was really Random.

No Classes on Tuesday

Alright, So I don't know if I should say things about feeling bad, this is supposed to be Optimistic and all.
So, I started Pretty rough, today. But I have to blame Blake's amazing decision skills for my laugh.
So I come into the kitchen and Blake is standing in front of the stove with a brass fitting in a pair of pliers. He was soldering using the gas stove.
Later...
Blake Started up his farelane so I jumped in the passenger side as he pulled out. and he explained that he thought it was running lean and wanted to test it.
well as we were coming back up the driveway he floored it and Hearing the roar of the engine followed by the rear of the car just lifting up and dancing around, was to say at least, exciting.
It was one of those times when you have to pry your fingers out of the dash afterwords.
and Blake's quote was something like,- Hmm, I guess it is running right.
Blake actual kept it on the driveway pretty well considering there was no power steering

Classes

Alright so today I had classes, most of my teachers are quite interesting. Rob Frank has a good length ponytail. and those eyes that just look a little crazed as he talks.
He showed up right on time and briskly walked to the front drinking a large cup of coffee, this was at 12:45 pm. the guy says that he tends to check email at three and four in the morning. And 12:45 was his first class of the day.

I was thinking to myself we might often be checking mail at the same time.

Saw Lizzie today I was glad to see her, I also talked to Melanie she was bubbly as always.
And I might not sound very happy to the common reader but both these people are really fun to talk to.

In actuality

So, really I can be serious sometimes.(everyone who knows me just smiles and nods at this point)

In actuality I am not a very positive blogger. To me it always feels so drab.
Half the time I vent, or I am just depressing when I right.

So lets be Real.
Reasonable, and Respecting here.

Life can get you down but if you can smile it may brighten all your friends' spirits.

Be Real, and Relish the time you have.
